​Choosing a midwife is an investment in personalized, relationship-based maternity care. At East Valley Midwifery, our model is intentionally different from traditional obstetric care. We provide unrushed appointments, continuity of care with our experienced midwifery team throughout pregnancy,, comprehensive education, and attentive postpartum support for both you and your baby. Our goal is to ensure you feel informed, supported, and confidently cared for every step of the way.

 

Midwifery Care Package - $5,500

Our comprehensive fee includes individualized holistic care from early pregnancy through six weeks postpartum, including:

 

Holistic Prenatal Care

• Comprehensive prenatal visits throughout pregnancy

• Dedicated 24/7 on-call line for urgent concerns

• One in-home prenatal visit (prior to 36 weeks) to discuss your birth plan and review home birth logistics

• Personalized education, preparation, and referrals throughout your pregnancy

• Three-part in-person childbirth education series designed specifically for planned home birth

• Access to our robust lending library 

 

Empowering Labor & Birth

• Birth team on-call 24/7 between 36-42 weeks

• Continuous midwifery care in your home throughout active labor and birth

• Full birth team attendance

• Immediate postpartum care for mother and baby following birth

• Custom home birth kit included

• Registration of your newborns birth with Vital Records and Social Security Ad​ministration

Supportive Postpartum Care​​

• Well postpartum care for mom through six weeks

• Well newborn care through six weeks of age including routine newborn meds as desired, critical congenital heart defect screening, and hearing screen. Newborn bloodspot test is offered with an additional lab fee. 

• Two in-home postpartum/well newborn visits during the first week after birth

• Two additional postpartum/ well newborn visits in our office between 2-6 weeks.

• Breastfeeding support

Service Area

Our standard fee includes homes located within 25 miles of our office.

Families outside this service area are welcome, though an additional travel fee will be calculated based on your location.

We are pleased to offer discounts for:

• Families who choose a doula from our preferred doula list

• Returning East Valley Midwifery clients

• 25% off supplements through our Fullscript Dispensary

Payment Information

A minimum $500 registration payment due at initial prenatal visit. We ask that 50% of fee be paid by third trimester with any remaining balance is due by 36 weeks of pregnancy.

We understand that every family's financial situation is unique and are happy to discuss payment scheduling during your consultation. We are registered with BeHerVillage, an online "baby registry"

​that allows you to include midwifery care and other services on your registry so your family and friends can give gifts towards services vs just baby items.

 

Insurance

East Valley Midwifery does not bill or contract with insurance companies.

Many insurance plans may still cover laboratory testing, ultrasound examinations, or other outside services ordered during your care, depending on your individual benefits.

Upon request, we are happy to provide an itemized superbill that you may submit to your insurance company.
