Mae Aboalam
Student Midwife
Mae Aboalam is an Egyptian American who was born and raised in New York and has called Arizona home for more than fifteen years. She is a daughter, sister, wife, and friend who values community, intentional living, and meaningful connection. Outside of studying and working, Mae enjoys hiking, cooking, thrifting, and a good game of chess.
Mae's journey into midwifery grew from her passion for women's health and holistic care. With a background in nutrition and personal training, she developed a strong understanding of how nourishment and movement support the body, particularly during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Midwifery became a natural extension of that foundation, allowing her to care for women during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives.
She is especially passionate about helping women feel strong, supported, and confident in their bodies. Mae enjoys integrating evidence-informed nutrition, fitness, and sustainable lifestyle habits into pregnancy and postpartum care to promote healing, recovery, and long-term wellness. She believes birth is most empowering when families feel informed, respected, and genuinely supported, and she is honored to walk alongside them throughout their journey.
